Verallia is the world's third largest producer of glass packaging for food. It offers innovative, customised and sustainable solutions to over 10,000 customers worldwide. In 2018, the company produced nearly 16 billion glass bottles and jars for still and sparkling wine, spirits, food, beer and soft drink markets, and Verallia's turnover exceeded 2.4 billion euros. In Italy it operates six plants in Dego (SV), Carcare (SV), Gazzo Veronese (VR), Lonigo (VI), Pescia (PT) and Villa Poma (MN). Verallia has been using the Transporeon platform since October 2015 in Italy, France and Germany. Across the company, Verallia allocates around 400 transports per day via the Transporeon platform, with around 250 booked slots for loading operations.
