The eCMR is the digital version of the paper CMR consignment note used in international road transport. It is created, signed and exchanged electronically using eIDAS advanced electronic signatures, and shared in real time between all parties and authorities.
The Documento de Control Administrativo (DCA), or Carta de Porte, is the administrative control document required for domestic transport and cabotage in Spain. Trimble's digital DCA meets Spanish technical requirements and is an extension of the eCMR. Existing eCMR customers can enable it through settings, at no extra cost.
The eDelivery Note, also called electronic proof of delivery (ePOD), is the digital version of the paper delivery note, commonly used in domestic transport. It captures every goods handover as a real-time digital record, aligning delivered goods with invoices to prevent disputes and speed up payment.
