One of the business divisions of the LuxairGroup, LuxairCARGO provides inbound and outbound air freight handling services at Luxembourg airport. With an annual capacity of one million tons of cargo, the company operates 24/7/365 from an 80,000 sqm warehouse inside the airport, the 6th largest cargo handling facility in Europe. From live animals to luxury alcohol, from pharmaceuticals to out-of-gauge industrial parts, LuxairCARGO creates value for customers by providing integrated truck, warehouse, and aircraft freight handling services. On arrival, cargo pallets must be offloaded
from the aircraft and then unpacked, identified, and sorted. Some items of freight are moved to warehouse storage while other items are loaded onto the correct outbound truck in one of the 110 on-site loading bays.
