It transfers transport orders and their details to selected carriers through one digital platform. Carrier selection can come from the shipper’s existing system or be determined automatically using predefined allocation rules and contracted rates.
No-touch Order is designed for shippers that regularly assign freight to contracted carriers. It is particularly relevant for logistics operations with high shipment volumes, large carrier networks or significant manual communication. It helps organisations standardise freight allocation, control contracted transport costs and give logistics teams more time to focus on exceptions and strategic activities.
First, the shipper creates a transport in Transporeon or an integrated ERP or TMS. The shipper then selects No-touch Order as the assignment method, and the transport is allocated to a carrier using an existing selection or predefined rules. The carrier receives the complete transport order and, depending on the commercial agreement, accepts or rejects it within the specified deadline.
Manual freight assignment requires dispatchers to contact carriers, exchange shipment details, verify rates and document responses individually.
