No-touch Order is Transporeon’s automated assignment method for contracted freight. A shipment is sent to a selected carrier based on existing agreements, rates or shipper-defined allocation rules. The carrier can accept the order within a specified deadline; if the carrier declines or does not respond, the shipper can apply another allocation rule, contact another carrier or move the shipment to a spot process.
Best Carrier is a digital spot assignment process that allows a shipper to request offers from an authorised group of carriers.
