Barilla is an Italian family-owned food company was established in 1877 and is a market leader in pasta and ready-to-use sauces in continental Europe, bakery products in Italy, and crispbreads in Scandinavia. Present in over 100 countries worldwide, the company produces 50,000 kilometers of spaghetti daily (enough to reach four times round the Earth). In Italy alone, its 14 factories are visited by 500 vehicles per day, transporting a total of 1.7 million tons of packaged products per annum.
