Based in Poland, ABC-Czepczyński is a family-run freight forwarding company operating across Europe. Established in 1997, the company today counts 180 employees. It first opened for business with its own fleet of vehicles. Since 2008 it started to cooperate with 200 subcontracted carriers and adds more carrier resources when required and on a case-by-case basis. The carrier uses the Transporeon platforms to bid for work, communicate, and collaborate with 60 shipping customers, each month processing around 1,500 transport orders on the platforms, with volumes steadily rising. ABC-Czepczyński is committed to ethical business operations and respecting social concerns. The freight forwarder is also involved in numerous projects and measures relating to corporate social responsibility.
Time, knowledge and money are central resources today. Transporeon services save us a lot of time. We use this time to inform ourselves in the system about who is inviting for tenders or transport orders via Best Carrier. The platform has enabled us to intensify our cooperation with many customers and to grow more strongly than ever before.
Mateusz Noszkowicz, Business Development Manager
ABC-Czepczyński now cooperates with 60 shippers via the Transporeon platforms and additionally uses the platform for its strategic business development.
Information on transport orders is comprehensive, visible and always up to date; customer satisfaction is assured by smoother processes and better information flow.
Booked time slots help to reduce waiting/charging times; full data and visibility enable better planning, resulting in more connecting loads (70% of all transports).
TIME & COST SAVINGS
Replacing manual processes with digital, standardized processes saves a lot of time and lowers processing costs; it’s quick and easy to participate in spot-market bids.
NEW BUSINESS MODEL - MORE GROWTH
This solution has enabled a new, growth-oriented business model; the freight forwarder has doubled annual transport orders by winning more bids and increasing carrier cooperation.
