Total Volume on the Eurasian Land Bridge

The volume on the Eurasian land bridge hit record highs due to the
module shifts from sea and air to rail transport during the pandemic.

A total of 5,122 trains operated on the route in H1 2020, an increase of 36% compared to the previous year. In June alone, the number reached a record 1,169 trains. The total transported goods through the routes totaled 461,000 TEU in the first half of 2020, an increase of 41% compared with the same period the previous year.
