However, operating at scale—with hundreds of trucks, complex relay changeovers and some of the industry’s highest service expectations—requires more than experience.

Build a unified ecosystem

RFT partnered with Transporeon (a Trimble company) over several years to build a connected transportation ecosystem designed for real-world complexity. Instead of adding more standalone tools, the focus was on creating one integrated platform, built on a simple principle: clean master data is the foundation of exceptional service.

From there, a suite of solutions was connected via a custom dashboard to support every stage of RFT’s operation:

  • Trimble TruckMate TMS – the operational foundation for order intake and processing, multi-leg planning and master data management

  • Trimble Freight Visibility – real-time tracking, automated changeovers and exception management

  • Trimble CoPilot – truck-legal navigation to a library of highly precise custom locations for B-Double operations

  • Trimble TMT Fleet Maintenance – unified asset health, availability and warranty management
