Solutions in Supply Chain Tech

Transporeon is dedicated to becoming the leading logistics platform supporting sustainability, and we’re thrilled to launch the Transporeon Hackathon supporting the ALICE Roadmap for Decarbonization.

This challenge is open to all students and Transporeon employees on our journey to uncovering the next generation of sustainable solutions in Supply Chain Technology. Teams will be tasked with developing and pitching a viable business solution that solves the challenge at hand and has potential to generate value. Transporeon will take the winning idea to market as an MVP. There is also a high opportunity for other projects to be brought to market.

How does it work?

We have prioritised five challenges faced by the planet and our customers that should be solved using innovative thinking and advanced technology.
Five teams made up of two external students and four Transporeon colleagues will be allocated to each challenge, and will be selected to create a strong and diverse mix of experience and expertise. Each team will have access to one internal (Transporeon employee) and external supporter, as well as a pool of experts available for questions relating to your challenge, approach and idea.

How will a winning team be selected?

A jury comprised of selected members of the Transporeon leadership team and external industry experts will assess each pitch based on strict judging criteria. To be in with a chance of winning, your pitch should: demonstrate a viable business solution, articulate a clear response to the challenge allocated, have potential to generate value. The aim is to create a product and business model for a minimum viable product that can evolve.

What’s the prize?

Transporeon will invest in up to five winning pitches as MVPs and help take them to market. The winning team(s) will continue to work on the project and receive an all expenses paid trip to visit representatives in Brussels to present their business idea and discuss decarbonization. All teams will have the opportunity to pitch to ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovation by Cooperation in Europe) members, and will receive a certificate recognizing their participation with honors.
