InBev Deutschland
InBev Deutschland belongs to InBev, the largest brewery in the world. InBev has a sales volume of 246.5 million hectolitres of beer (base 2006) and the portfolio includes more than 200 brands in 140 countries. InBev was founded in the autumn of 2004 from the merger of the Belgian brewery Interbrew and the Brazilian brewery AmBev.

In 2001 the Belgian brewery Interbrew acquired the brewery Diebels, closely followed by the acquisition of Becks, which was the basis of Interbrew  Deutschland being founded in 2002. Following the acquisition of further breweries InBev Deutschland was formed in July 2005. Due to the merger, InBev Deutschland is the second largest Germany group of breweries, which is represented in all significant areas of the German beer market, both from a geographical perspective as well as in terms of the product range.
