"A simple but highly effective idea" – that's what the four founders of TRANSPOREON thought in the year 2000 when they launched TRANSPOREON: an Internet logistics platform linking industrial and trading companies with their carriers…

This simple business idea has given rise to the international TRANSPOREON Group, which now operates three platforms: the TRANSPOREON logistics platform, the TICONTRACT platform for invitations to tender and the MERCAREON logistics platform for trading companies.

TRANSPOREON is now the market leader in Europe and provides software as a service (SaaS) that optimizes transport logistic processes and communication between industrial companies, trading companies, carriers, drivers and consignees.

Over 400 shippers and 19,000 carriers are linked to each other through TRANSPOREON, and our Customer Service team looks after over 54,000 users from 70 countries in 18 languages. The TRANSPOREON platform is also available in 17 languages.

Our international team consists of over 200 employees in 13 locations. They have comprehensive expertise in all the relevant areas: logistics, IT (including SAP integration), industrial engineering, foreign languages and business management.

We are particularly proud of our high proportion of female employees, which is 50% throughout the company, including in executive positions. That is quite an achievement when you consider that women have been seriously underrepresented in the IT and logistics industries up to now.

It is also worth highlighting that over 15% of our employees are trainees, making us one of the top employers in the region. We are a recognized Chamber of Industry and Commerce training company.
